House to probe fire-hit areas facing demolition

THE House of Representatives is set to investigate what a lawmaker said is a correlation of fire incidents razing urban poor communities that face threats of demolition.
Gabriela Women’s Party Representative Emmi De Jesus will file a resolution on May 2 to urge the Committee on Housing and Urban Development to probe these incidents.
