Gabriela Representatives Luz Ilagan and Emmi de Jesus joined the regional delegates of GWP’s 5th National Congress in WOMEN WALK FOR ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE, proceeding to Lung Center, National Kidney Transplant Institute, and Philippine Heart Center on May 27, 2012. The women lambasted the railroading of the passage of HB 6069 converting 26 government hospitals into government corporations. Gabriela Women’s Party Representatives Luz Ilagan and Emmi de Jesus today joined "Jasmin" as she files rape case against Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija Vice Mayor Romeo R. Borja, Jr. at the Department of Justice. Jasmin accused Vice Mayor Borja of repeatedly raping her since June 2011 amid Borja’s threat to harm and even kill her and her family if she did not agree to meet him at his will.
