Bai Ali is a known youth leader and was an elected officer of various youth alliances and formations nationwide including the prestigious, the National Union of the Students of the Philippines (NUSP) and the College Editors’ Guild of the Philippines (CEGP).
She finished Bachelor of Arts, Major in Mathematics, Magna cum Laude, at the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC). As a student at the CCSPC, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Torch, the official student publication of the college. She is also elected as the President of the Supreme Student Government/Student Regent, Board of Trustees. She has consistently represented the school, the province and the region, as an officer for various youth alliances and formations nationwide including the prestigious broad organizations, the National Union of the Students of the Philippines and the College Editors’ Guild of the Philippines.
She volunteered for Suara Bangsamoro Organization after college, organizing Moro women in the communities, imparting inputs on the situation of the Bangsamoro people in the Philippines and documenting/facilitating cases of human rights violations. She has attended several trainings and workshops both international and local on Human Rights Documentation and Paralegal Training, Peace Advocacy and other Social Issues here and abroad.
She is elected as Secretary-General/Spokesperson of Suara Bangsamoro, a human rights defender and the current Secretary General of the KAWAGIB Moro Human Rights Organization. A Moro woman leader and also a mother. Her exemplary leadership has made her the third nominee of the only elected women sectoral representative in Congress, Gabriela Women’s Party.
